Discover southern Morocco with our Ouarzazate and Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou excursion from Marrakech. This full-day trip takes you through the famous Tichka Pass, the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains and one of Morocco’s most iconic UNESCO World Heritage sites.
The journey takes approximately 4 hours each way.
Departure at 7:30 from Marrakech toward Tichka Pass.
First stop to visit a women’s argan oil cooperative. A coffee and restroom break is also scheduled.
Climb to Tichka Pass at 2260 meters above sea level. Panoramic stop to take photos and see the sign marking the Tichka summit.
Continuation to the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. Free visit of approximately 45 minutes to discover this fortified village listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Clients may choose to have lunch in Ait Ben Haddou or in Ouarzazate in front of Taourirt Kasbah.
After lunch, drive past the Ouarzazate film studios before returning to Marrakech.
Return to Marrakech in the afternoon.
