The Classic Desert Tour from Marrakech 4 days 3 nights is the ideal itinerary to discover southern Morocco. You cross the High Atlas Mountains, explore the Dades Gorges and Todra Gorges, experience the Sahara in Merzouga, then visit Ouarzazate and the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah before returning to Marrakech. A complete journey combining spectacular landscapes, local culture, and a true desert atmosphere.
Day 1: Marrakech – Dades Gorges
Departure from Marrakech towards the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Scenic stops along the way, then continue to the Dades Gorges area. Check-in and overnight stay.
Day 2: Dades – Todra – Merzouga
After breakfast, drive to the Todra Gorges with free time to visit. Continue to Merzouga and reach the Erg Chebbi dunes. In the late afternoon, depart for a desert experience (sunset depending on the schedule). Overnight in Merzouga.
Day 3: Merzouga – Ouarzazate
Leave Merzouga after breakfast. Travel through desert landscapes and southern Moroccan villages towards Ouarzazate. Check-in and overnight in Ouarzazate.
Day 4: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
Departure to Ait Ben Haddou to visit the kasbah. Then return to Marrakech through the High Atlas. Arrival in the late afternoon.
